  3. Q: I just put in the unlock code and still get the startup
  4. dialog saying my version is unregistered.
  5. A: You have more then one copy of CopyPaste installed in
  6. your System Folder. The easiest solution is to use find file
  7. type in CopyPaste highlight all the found items and put them
  8. in a folder on your desktop. Restart (you should see no
  9. dialog for CopyPaste) then reinstall by dragging the latest
  10. version of CopyPaste on top of the System Folder where it
  11. will ask if it can go into the Extension Folder, say yes and
  12. Restart.

  14. Q: Is there a way to copy something to the regular Mac clipboard 
  15. without using CopyPaste?
  16. A: Yes, either type command + c + c (double c) or hold down
  17. the ctrl or option or shift key while selecting Copy from the
  18. menubar.

  20. Q: I want to buy CopyPaste by credit card but don't feel the
  21. internet is safe.
  22. A: There are several options but first we feel the internet
  23. is safer then any gas station or department store where one
  24. might use a credit card. Also we have never had any problem
  25. but if you want another method here are a few. One way is to
  26. use stuffit to compress the registration form and put a
  27. password on the compressed file (also using stuffit) then
  28. send us the password or you can add 100 to the account
  29. number and email it and tell me its encrypted with julian
  30. encryption. or you can call me at 916 546 9005 to leave your
  31. info on our secure answering machine or with me personally.

  33. Q: When I turn on the FKeys they don't work with CopyPaste.
  34. A: If you use QuickKeys you must turn off the QuickKeys that
  35. use F1, F2, F3

  37. Q: Commands in programs like Quark, Pagemaker and HyperCard
  38. that use the control key are not working.
  39. A: Turn off Tag and Drop in the CopyPaste Preferences (it is
  40. off by default) and they will all work.

  42. Q: The save clipboards thru restarts sounds good to me how
  43. do i get it to work?
  44. A: First, the program must be registered. Second, go to the
  45. CopyPaste preferences and turn on the 'Restore Clipboards'
  46. item.

  48. Q: Is there an easier way to get at the text utilties then
  49. thru that long Copy menu?
  50. A: Yes, there are two ways. First turn on the Utilities Menu
  51. in the CopyPaste preferences. This will put the utilities
  52. menu at the bottom of the Edit menu where it is handier.
  53. Second, after using a text, picture or date utility once it
  54. can be used again with command c e

  56. Q: How can I have those help dialogs printed out so its
  57. easier to use and see.
  58. A: Open the help dialog and click the save as text button
  59. then choose a font size and print.

  61. Q: Is there an easy way to bring up the CopyPaste Palette?
